Chierstin is a Cleveland, Ohio native and Sun Devil alumni with a true passion for all things sports and fitness related. Her interest in journalism began and at the age of 13, when she decided she wanted to be a sports reporter. Chierstin has displayed her versatility and array of talents by logging time in front of the camera at the anchor desk, out in field, and on the sidelines. She also has experience behind the scenes with shooting, editing, producing, and writing for sports and news.

While in college, Chierstin was a student correspondent for ESPNU Campus Connection, co-produced and hosted a 30-minute show that aired on Fox Sports Arizona, was a multimedia producer and news anchor for the BEA-awarded best collegiate newscast in the nation, and later became a sports reporter, producer, and anchor for the same newscast.

She was contacted by the Liberty Flames Sports Network shortly after graduating and landed her first reporting job for LFSN’s daily show, “Game On”. Chierstin was also a sideline reporter for LFSN’s broadcasts for basketball, baseball, football and color commentates for softball.

From there Chierstin went on to become the weekend sports anchor for KOAA, the NBC affiliate in Colorado Springs, CO.
